What to Wear
Concert Uniform Requirements: NO TRAINERS please! If in doubt, please wear school shoes.
For Intro Band, Wind Band, Concert Band, WAYSE and WASTO, the performance attire is:
WASO Boys
- WASO polo shirt
- Black trousers (not jeans)
- Black socks
- Black polished shoes
WASO Girls
- WASO polo shirt
- Black skirt (appropriate length) with black tights OR black trousers (not jeans)
- Black socks
- Black polished shoes
For Winchester Youth Orchestra (WYO) the attire is:
WYO Boys
- Plain black long-sleeved shirt
- Black trousers (not jeans)
- Black socks
- Black polished shoes
WYO Girls
- All black: either a long black dress OR black top with black skirt (appropriate length) and black tights/shoes OR black top with black trousers (not jeans), black socks, black polished shoes
How to buy a WASO polo shirt
If you are new to WASO or have outgrown your previous polo shirt, please provide your details below and we will be in touch when one is available. Shirts can usually be picked up and paid for at the next Wednesday rehearsal. We accept cash (exact change please), card, Apple Pay and Android Pay.If you are ordering for more than one child, please fill this form out separately for each child.

Child sizes (7-8, 9-10, 11-13) are £.
Adult sizes (XS, S, M, L) are £.
All pre-loved shirts are £5.
Special Notes on Fit
The size details you provide in this form will be a guide. We will make sure you are happy with the fit and have the right size when you pick up and pay.
We have found both the Child 11-13 size and Adult XS size fit the average 11 to 13 year old, the difference being the Child 11-13 is wider at the shoulders but shorter overall than the Adult XS, which by comparison is narrower at the shoulders and about 1-inch longer.
